No time to eat breakfast, so you head to the convenience store downstairs. Cold cans lined in rows beneath fluorescent light. A canned pear juice in hand, condensation slipping onto your fingers.
A taxi through Daegu to the station, the window left slightly open. Green leaves and clean laundry drifting through the morning air.
Early mornings on the train. Half-awake passengers. Soft fabric seats. Yesterday’s perfume still caught in the collar of your sweater.
